Life gets in the way

I am back after not looking at 23 Things for 12 days. My husband's mother passed away and I missed a week of work and then spent a week trying (unsuccessfully) to catch up. I also had a cold and an ear infection during all this. So, life gets in the way of doing things that I really want to do. Now I will have to play catch up with 23 Things. I really need quite time to do this and I don't get much of that. Also, I want to read everything so I can learn as much as possible and I am a very slow reader. It takes me a while to grasp some of these "things" because I am a digital immigrant and it doesn't come naturally to me. I can have a hard time getting my mind around this stuff.
